Transitional Kindergarten

To enroll in our TK Program, children must be 4 years old by June 1st and fully potty trained. (Beginning 2024-2025)

We wanted to notify all our incoming and current families of a change in our admissions policy that will take place starting the 2024-2025 school year. We will be moving up our cut off date for incoming students from September 1st to June 1st for TK and Kindergarten. This means students will need to be 4 years old by June 1st to apply for TK and 5 years old by June 1st to apply for Kindergarten.

    Transitional Kindergarten at Sacred Heart Parish School provides a safe, loving environment for your child as well as a stimulating academic, faith-filled program.  TK is a time to foster the joy and love of learning and one another.  TK is concerned about the development of the whole child and devoted to Catholic teachings and ideas.  TK offers children a developmentally appropriate curriculum taught by credentialed teachers.   TK serves as a bridge between preschool and kindergarten helping children build a strong foundation for future school success.  It blends social emotional experiences with academic learning providing literacy, math and cognitive skills as well as fostering the social and self-regulatory skills needed to succeed in school and life. 

The TK program consists of a full day similar to the other grades.  Each student has recess, lunch and nap time.  For more information concerning tuition rates and student fees, please contact the Business Office at business@sacredheartcor.org
