Dia De Los Muertos
November 07, 2021

A mexican tradition celebrated November 2nd has been a part of the culture of Sacred Heart Parish School for many years. This year, during EdTech, students learned about the various components of an "Ofrenda" (Altar) and created various projects to add to our very own Altar. Teachers and Staff brought pictures of their ancestors to add to our Altar. A Middle School students created Digital Mini ofrendas. A collaborative project that brings this wonderful tradition to life year after year at SHPS was wrapped by the sale that 6th grade put together. They sold Pan de Muerto to raise funds for San Diego Coastkepper. They raised a total of $366! Thank you all for your support!
